We have just finished our last massage of 2015. That marks 19 years of the Art of Massage, and every day it just gets better. The Spa will be closed for New Year’s Day, and we will reopen on Saturday, January 2.
At this point we are booked up for the day, but we do have openings beginning next Monday, January 4th.
Thank you, everyone who has done us the honor of making us the place you visit to take care of your self.
We look forward to serving you in 2016.
You can travel twice as far and spend three times as much for half the experience, but you won’t see any bigger smile than you’ll see on the face of the person who receives a gift certificate from the Art of Massage. To order a gift, you can call us at 315-475-9164, or click on the Gift Certificates.
We can send a paper gift certificate, or you can print it out or email it to the lucky recipient right from the website. Not sure which type of treatment he or she would like? Call us and we’ll get you a gift in any dollar amount, and let them pick what they’d like.
This is the time when we get to come to you. In the next few weeks, our Licensed Massage Therapists will be traveling to workplaces, campuses, family gatherings and a host of other settings to offer portable and relaxing chair massages. We’ll be at the Syracuse University College of Law this Monday, and at a host of events at Syracuse University and SUNY ESF the following week.
Would you like the Art of Massage to be part of your company or organization’s holiday celebration this year? Be sure to call us to schedule your event soon! (315) 475-9164
Enjoy your holiday time with family. If you’d like a stress free way to begin your holiday shopping on Friday, please stop by the Spa between Noon and 5 PM. We will have a warm fire burning, some hot cider for you to enjoy, and, as our way to say Thank You, we will be selling Art of Massage Gift Certificates at a 10% discount.
You are always welcome at The Spa at 500. Your place to relax, restore, and renew yourself. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Is it possible to get too much massage?
This was the question put to me after a massage session two weeks ago. The questioner is a woman who has been enjoying treatment at the Art of Massage at least once a month for years. “Far as I know,” I told her, “no one has ever overdosed.”
So here’s what she decided to do. She has one week of vacation left, so starting on the day after Labor Day, she is coming to the Spa four days in a row. “Yoga in the morning, followed by a bike ride, then a massage before dinner.” What a great vacation idea!
We hope you’ve been taking good care of yourself this summer. We predict it’s going to stay warm and summer-like for a good long time.
